Woman's bag or chatelaine bag with silver frame and black silk velvet body. Chatelaine clip with embossed Poseidon or Neptune with his trident with two horses attached by a hinge to the frame decorated with embossed four personifications, on left seated figure in niche, centre left reclining figure with lion and ship in background, centre right seated figure feeding a monkey and right seated figure, and man's head on button. Black silk velvet circular body edged with black silk cord decorated with two small black silk pom-poms eitherside of frame. Inside two compartments lined with yellow corded silk damask.
